Universitas 21 (U21) is a unique global network that brings together 29 world-leading, research-intensive universities who share a common belief in the value of collaboration and internationalisation. Many of the U21 institutions have social work as one of the disciplines within their universities. In 2020 a Community of Practice for Social Work was established within U21 to connect these institutions. Stretching from the Americas, through Europe and Africa, to Australasia, the Community of Practice incorporates 16 institutions.
